I was tasked with redesigning the DIG logo. In the initial stages, the stakeholders requested several iterations that were more pictographic in nature. However, as I reworked the logo and explored the monogram a bit more, I arrived at a version that truly was an ode to the old DIG logo. The interlocking, diagonal letters allowed for a nostalgic yet fresh look and in the end was the version chosen.
The goal was to reimagine the logo and branding and have it tie to CRDF Global in some way. The existing maroon color was an element that needed to be maintained in order to honor and respect DIG’s legacy.
The idea woven through all of the designed materials was to keep the look and feel both clean and crisp.
